Willlemetz
Consultants was created in 1993 by Philippe Willemetz, a former
investment banker. From the outset, our goal has been to provide
high-quality and cost-effective solutions to the specific
communication needs of financial institutions. We now intervene
at all stages of the information process, providing our clients
with the capabilities and expertise of a team drawn from the
financial and language sectors. In
2001, Willemetz Consultants merged with OCT to create CPW.
OCT, which was established in 1973, brought with it a premium
franchise of clients in the financial and industrial sectors
and a complementary mix of capabilities, notably in the areas
of interpreting and computer-assisted translation (CAT). The
company now places over 30 years’ combined experience
in the language services sector at the disposal of a pan-European
and US client base.
Willemetz
Consultants, which is the new company’s financial translation
arm, offers banks and financial institutions a full range
of products and services, based on the application of a "one-stop
shopping" concept to multi lingual financial communication.
The company has an in-house team of translators based in Paris
and London that handles all documents in language combinations
involving French, English and German. Working with a range
of proprietary terminology databases and reference sources,
this in-house team allows us to remain highly responsive and
meet our clients’ needs for rapid turnaround times.
In addition, we work with a carefully selected global network
of translators in other language combinations, enabling us
to provide a comprehensive and cost-effective solution to
multi-lingual translation and interpreting needs. |
